Solanum

The Solanum, native to Brazil, is a fascinating and versatile climber that grows fast and needs a support to climb up. Thanks to its flexible and drooping branches, it is also well suited for growing in hanging baskets and planters on the edge of terraces. From early summer until the beginning of winter, numerous snow-white star-shaped flowers adorn this shrub. The subtropical plant cannot withstand cold temperatures for a long time. In winter, when the temperature drops below 0 ° C, it is advisable to protect it or to move it under cover.
